In Your Remembrance

In your remembrance
Words fail to be anything but air…
As I stand at your grave
You are closer than ever
The warmth of your spirit encloses me
The sense of your glory
Your aura
Leaves me speechless
I embrace every moment
And remind myself
Of that night
When the light embraced you
And asked you to read
A new chapter began for mankind
Like the moon in the sky
You pushed the darkness aside
And guided mankind
To the footsteps of the messengers
The scent of their books
The sighs of their hearts
How can I forget
How you went through humiliation
Torture, hunger, and pain
How can I forget
How you held the hands of children
How you carried them on your back
We will love you
More than our wealth
More than our families
More than ourselves
Peace be upon you
You have truly been sent ..
A mercy to mankind
The cure of my pains
The light of my path
The moon of my sky
This is for you
My brother
My father
My beloved
Mohammad…..
