Participial Adjective forms


A present participle is active in meaning,whereas a past participle is passive in meaning

present participle: the disturbing boy was punished.

past participle: the disturbed man punished the boy.

we can say that
present participle is the ability to do something, whereas the past participle is affected by that ability

The ( ing )form is the present participle

The (ed) form is the past participle
